ZNM — Privacy Policy
Last updated: 4 October 2026
ZNM (“the app”) is a notification helper for Amazfit / Zepp OS watches. This policy explains what the app does and does not do with your data.
The short version
ZNM collects nothing, stores no message content, and sends nothing anywhere. Everything happens on your phone. The app has no internet access at all — it does not declare the internet permission, so it cannot transmit data even in principle.
What the app accesses
To do its one job — marking a chat as read when you delete its notification on your watch — ZNM uses Android’s Notification access. While that access is granted, Android lets the app see notifications and when they are removed.
ZNM uses this only to:
- detect that a notification was removed by your watch, and
- trigger that notification’s own “mark as read” action.
ZNM does not read, copy, log, upload, or retain the contents of your notifications (message text, sender, images, etc.).
What the app stores
On your device only, in the app’s private storage, ZNM keeps:
- which apps you have switched off,
- a short rolling on-screen activity log (app name, event type and time — never message text), capped at the most recent entries.
This data never leaves your phone and is deleted when you uninstall the app or clear its data.
What the app shares
Nothing. There are no analytics, no advertising, no third-party SDKs, and no servers.
Children
ZNM is a utility with no content directed at children and collects no personal data.
